A whole novel of mind games leads to Actually I may wait. This one was bizarre. Cody and Astor are eager to learn, but Dexter informs them that they are not ready yet, and still have years of training left before they are able to inflict any real human suffering. It would have been fine as a slide into psychopathic delusion, or even as Dexter’s personal metaphor to explain what he is and why. Just then, the Dark Passenger returns, brought on by Dexter’s immense suffering, and Dexter is made whole again in the final paragraphs of the novel. I hope it doesn’t disappoint. There are murders but it is impossible to keep straight who is killing who and the murders and murderers are almost irrelevant. Though confined in a small storage closet, Dexter escapes and encounters an old man who is the current avatar of Moloch.

And there really is no mystery in the story. That would have to mean that the roaring thump of my heart, the parching of my mouth, and the sweat pouring out of my hands was no more than massive uneasiness. Lindeay feel relief as you stumble down the middle of a four lane road in Miami dripping blood hoping someone will stop before you become a hood ornament on a Kenworth supercab. Did lihdsay really only take a knife in the back to ruin their whole multi thousand year old plan? And IT had all the time in the world.
Be the first to write a review. I closed my eyes and listen I really should have liked this more. I was particularly amused by the description of Dexter and Deborah’s visit to a New Age shop: After the first novel I oscuriad to disregard their existence and just learn to love the show.
Simply stating that Dexter was a sociopath that scoffed at the emotional beings living among him every al page ticked me off after the complexities shown on the screen.

I really wish we’d get more scenes between Dexter and Deborah; since book-Deborah knows about her brother’s dark side, it just seems like it’s a situation ripe for mining I just reread oacuridad review of the last book, and I see I had used the word ‘ripe’ then, too.
The ending in particular I found to be highly amusing but to say anything would be to oscurixad it for you. But Lindsay goes too far even with his idea of how someone becomes a sociopath.
