Chance is somewhat less developed I thought, but still has a distinct personality of his own and isn’t just a cardboard cutout character.
Haunted by Your Touch. Yeast infection is all I say!
This novella delivers laughs and romance. Demon Hunting in Dixie. These mobsters have a hard time getting Chance to sleep with the fishes.

Jul 27, Kathy Kindle-aholic rated it really liked it Shelves: I love the Night Huntress World novels but this one was just too short.
Yes No Thanks for your feedback! Aug 26, Rebecca rated it really liked it Shelves: Originally appeared in Weddings From Hell anthology. We know Bones sired Chance but not the circumstances behind it.
The Lady Is a Grost. Frost did a disservice to Chance because I as a reader can not fall in love with him as a hero like I did with Mencheres if I know nothing about him. I would really like to see more of him in future Night Huntress books.
Happily Never After
What I loved most, aside from the fun and snarky relationship between the two MCs, was the history behind Isabella’s grandmother. Now if only he can keep his hands off the bride. Maybe a bit of all the above but there is nothing about it as bad as marrying a man you just can’t stand.
The review must be at least 50 characters long. I liked Chance a lot. Although not an amazing short story, Happily Never After was a lot of fun to read and introduced some characters I really hope to see more of in the Night Huntress books. Isabella in particular is portrayed in vivid detail to the extent she becomes a very unique character, and even though others consider her to be something of a damsel in distress, she doesn’t really consider herself to be one.
I have learned nothing new about Chance’s character from this book. Bones makes a short appearance, but other than that it really was an independent story from the rest of the series.
ffost Another hilarious story by Jeaniene Frost, with strong female characters and sexy alpha guys Just a moment while we sign you in to your Goodreads account. In the event it proves relevant, at the time I write this review I have jeanienne read Halfway to the Grave and Reckoning in this series, thus I only have knowledge of characters that appear in those books.
She’s in a helluva situation where she literally has to marry this prick of a dude! As noted above, you can read this as a stand alone without having read any of the related books and not really miss much.

And Chance is a vampire very like Bones – not vicious, protector of the innocent, etc. There’s some funny moments too in her ways of keeping Robert at bay. Only In My Dreams. But it still felt insta-lovey.
