Want to Read saving…. Although it assumes you’re familiar with Java, it expects you’re a beginner with networking. Ash rated it liked it Aug 25, Nonetheless, it’s a great book. It does not describe network programming techniques for non-trivial applications in the context of the Java language harood might expect this given that the title doesn’t mention the API at all.
This invaluable book is a complete, single source guide to ruzty sophisticated network applications.
Out of date networking packages. Packed with useful examples, it is the essential resource for any serious Java developer. Not something I would recommend today.
Also, when standards, protocols or theoretical aspects are involved, a brief introduction is provided with only as much detail as necessary to follow the ensuing Java related discussion except for secure sockets where the theory is a bit complex and the introduction a bit lacking.
