The way the author conceives the narrative of philosophy is original. Conveniently a member of my family, one of my cousins to be precise, has actually studied philosophy and when I asked her about a book she would recommend she came up with the Philosophical Backstairs almost immediately.

This is very unfortunate! One gets the impression the author is anxious for laypersons to comprehend the text.
