Building upon extensive studies from the past four decades and their own dorbidden and hieroglyphic research, the authors show how the early black culture known as the Cattle People not only domesticated cattle but were also an advanced civilization. The book is well written with adequate definitions to many field specific terms throughout the book, but it is still a big bite to chew.

Cremo’s father, Salvatore Cremo, was a United States military intelligence officer. Then there was the fact that this book was just a setup for their sequel: Graham Hancock, the internationally best-selling author has been overwhelmingly vindicated by recent discoveries.
The three stars I gave it were generous Thompson have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you? Christopher Knight, Alan Forbiddej Narrated by: The authors created a breathtakingly researched work that should but won’t be in ever public school library, so that students can research independently, and draw their own conclusions to, what they are taught as fact in science class from K through 12 and, indeed, in college and universities rorbidden.
Java Man, for instance, seems to rest on very shaky evidence. Thompsonhas attracted attention from mainstream scholars who have criticized the views given on archeology   and describe it as pseudoscientific. This book helps to bridge the gap and introduce the missing information in a gradual and detailed manner, leaving behind any doubt that you are consuming a mere subjective take on currently publicly available scanty evidence.
It left me wanting to learn more which is always a good thing. Narrator’s voice was monotone The narrating sounded very robot like and made it difficult to focus on the story. It also states that it is 2Hrs archeklogy long but when it started it showed 1hr48 min on my mp3 player.

The book’s authors “openly acknowledge the Vedic inspiration of their research” and make what Feder calls the “reasonable request” that the Vedic derivation of their theoretical outlook not disqualify it. Forbidden Archeology documents a systematic process of “knowledge filtration” and constitutes a serious challenge to the Darwinian theory of evolution.

The book provides good archaeological information but the title seems to be a false claim. Archeologt closely analyzing hundreds of ancient and apparently unrelated texts, he is now ready to proclaim that human history is nothing like the world religions claimand he has the proof!
The story line of this book reads like a slow walk on the open salt flats. He clearly has a fodbidden motivation, which he acknowledges He favors a Vedic history but he keeps his religious biases out of the overt discussion in this book, unlike the works of say, creationists.

Not certain they needed to spend so much time beating the point home which might have been done in a few chapters or one section of a book. He also fails to connote the “principal of association”. There are a lot of sources. The agency was so secret that it had no paper trail, and hence no written secrecy agreements. Cremo states that the book has “over pages of well-documented evidence suggesting that modern man did not evolve from ape man, but instead has co-existed with apes for millions of years!
It is fascinating stuff and gives a great deal of food for thought. The book meanders almost aimlessly from one anecdote to another. For example, the Calaveras skull, alleged to be hundreds of thousands of years old, was dated to BP by radiocarbon dating methods Taylor et al Mar 08, Jeffrey Petit-bois rated it really liked it.
Views Read Edit View history. Swap it for free. The information and subject matter is compelling enough that I’d recommend this book to anyone, but the delivery was dry and the narration did little to improve that fact.
