The tenth book in the Sweep series is not from Morgan’s point of view. Which, kind of doesn’t make much sense because this entire book was an attempt to get us rreckoning care about her, and yet Tiernan makes her out to be a spoiled asshole anyway.


Morgan and Hunter go to Selene’s and Cal’s old house to battle it out with her. Day rated it liked it.

Diversity Alisa is half-Latina. There’s an air of lassitude there, a general acceptance of eccentic or flamboyant behavior–the heat simply makes people do crazy things. When entering the room, Morgan realizes that it is Selene’s study. This book has clearly benefited from a maturing practiced authorial hand.

It’s a great rfckoning, and really makes you like Alisa all the more. Morgan is faced with a choice between the people she loves and the powerful and seemingly rfckoning magick her father can teach her.

While there she finds comfort in some of the mysteries of her past, but she also uncovers danger, hostility, and fear — and she must make reckonint choice that could change her future. Alisa saves Charlie himself from fire by instinctively powerfully telekinetically hurling a cauldron of water. I greatly admire P. tkernan How’s Morgan supposed to feel about that? Hopefully the next book in the series will be a little better than this one. Hunter soon discovers that his father is talking to his mother who is dead using a Bith Dearc which is the use of what is considered to be a form of dark magick, against the wishes of Hunter’s mother.


This book is so full of expressive expansive moments like this, I tiernann loved it. The idea that everything in life has its own destiny and path is just expressed continuously in this series and it’s fascinating to watch it unfold.
