I think this is a self-help book which uses science mostly medical science as a proof to creenfia mind-body connection and even to some spirituality. And while his life is very interesting, in most scientific books this might be perceived as self-indulgent; in this case, however, it fits perf Partly life science, partly life story, this book points the way beyond a mechanical view of life.

I would suggest this book to anyone, whether you are a skeptic or a believer in alternative healing methods. There was a problem filtering reviews right now. He writes in a way that is easy to read in spite of the scientific content. Interesting book with ideas which intrigued me.
For the core assertion of this book, contrary to the “central creenncia of cell biology, is that genes are not destiny. Lipton undermines many of his own conclusions by separating them from the body of the text in an epilogue. The technical details of the theory don’t interest me so much as the concepts guiding it.
