But would she have said no quite so quickly had she known that only a month later he’d have gotten engaged to another person? It will make you question your actions against those in your relationships. It did keep my attention- I stayed up late and then finished it in the morning.

She’s quite content with her life thank you very much – her job as a private investigator albeit not a very successful one for Hound Dog investigations, Jason her boyfriend of ten years standingand her relationship with her wonderful dad pity her mum is such a disaster.
I can understand her views on life and opinions but the way she just kept rambling on and on and on was frustrating. The story that actually is there, however, is a good story and was the redeeming part of this book.
I dare say the book owes its four star rating to the first paragraph in Chapter The book is also written by a British author, who heavily uses British slang and colloquialisms that often went over my head as an American so I missed many of the jokes of t This book and I had a love hate relationship.

By then, you would have changed in some ways, whether physically or in your perspective etc. She thinks distance is normal. The book seemed to be a book about nothing, but I kept reading as the author has a style that begs the reader to keep going, and as fast as one can.
Maxted doesn’t need an early summer release date to get books moving—expect this to hit bestseller lists as well as beach towels. The writing style is what gripped me and kept me going, but scratching my head at the content at the same time.
Let me tell you, I did not expect to start laughing with such force that my boyfriend came from the other room to see what was the matter, only to see me smiling, gasping for air, with tears flowing from my eyes, and my arms clutching my sides.
Want to Read saving…. You know exactly where the story is going in the first few pages, but she did a good job of keeping you entertained getting there.

Witty, sarcastic, self-deprecating and clever, this is platinum-class chick lit. I really enjoyed this book and believe it is relatable to anyone with a committed heart. The Christmas Mystery Jostein Gaarder.
When he proposes and she rejects his annx within a few weeks he is proposed to someone else. I really liked it. And life without ahusband at thirty-one is just fine, thank you very much. Parts of it were really smart, really funny.
All the characters were rather annoying with their commitment problems and commitetd secrets. Although Hannah, the protagonist, is far from likable, she is undeniably hilarious, as are her romantic foibles and unlike the former novel, the supporting cast is pitched perfectly. Both were about unlikeable single-gal detectives though “Mystery” was set in Irelandand the glass-half-full theme prevails.
Jason agrees to give her another chance — butonly if she meets his terms, among them a promise todust off the many skeletons in her closet.
