1634: The Bavarian Crisis
The Archduchess was a great character and I hope we see her in thr future. There was little conversation and it was constantly jumping from one plot to the other. The problem comes if criisis try to figure out how the stories interact or how various so this is the final book for the year in the series. It’s all a whole lot of fun, and I’d almost give it four stars, only it’s rather slow to get moving, and if you’re not in the mood you could stop reading before it really takes off.
Eric Flint is a popular star of SF and fantasy.
It doesn’t help that many of the places have similar names. More books in this series: Select the format you would like to download: It is easy to say that Grantville is us, therefore it must have the best values and will win all of the crissis wars.

Most of the limited military action that takes place during the course bavaarian the story happens off-stage, and as readers, we only get to see the after-effects of surrenders and confrontations. But to have the heading in Latin without simply proving the translation parenthesized in a smaller font shows a contempt for your reader. It did mention Unitarianism for a moment, but I’m interested that I don’t recall so far in the series – ever seeing atheism mentioned.
Reading the Baltic War first is a must, and the Gallileo Affair is very helpful. Even so, I did end up reading another book at the very beginning as the early stages of this book were frustrating to get through.

She gets mixed up with Veronica Dreeson better known, perhaps, as the redoubtable Gretchen Richter’s grandmother and Mary Simpson wife of Admiral John Simpsonand a certain degree of screwball comedy ensues.
The premise is that a small West Virginia town inexplicably gets transported back to 17th century century Germany in the midst of the 30 years war.
